The Tall Primary Unit is ideal for homes that need a full shower stall, but do not have room for a permanent or semi-permanent structure.  Tall Primary Units are fully assembled and like most models fold flat to less than 8” in depth when not in use.  They are a great choice for cabins, garages, basements or other locations where cost and space are a concern. The Tall Primary Unit can be used to replace bathing facilities during home renovation or address emergencies like hurricanes or power outages.  The unit can be ordered with either standard vinyl curtains or with special HAZMAT decontamination weight curtains.  In the case of contaminates, source water can be drawn from a solar heated water bag with waste water from the drain pan directed into contaminate containment vessels.   

The unit allows the individual to self bathe privately or have assistance bathing with the front curtain removed.  The shower head can be frame mounted or hand held facilitating entire body cleansing.  Care givers have access to the bather through the front of the unit enabling bather assistance without entering the shower themselves.  The unit eliminates waste water as quickly as it is delivered to the unit so there is no need to wait for the unit to drain once the shower is complete.  All units have pumps custom designed to run safely wet or dry and are fitted with special no blockage filters.   

With this unit, the person to be bathed can be rolled into the shower stall in a standard shower/commode wheelchair, regular wheelchair or simply stand and shower.  Once inside the shower stall, a front support bar is lowered so that the fourth side of the shower pan can be raised and attached for waste water collection.  A front shower curtain may be brought around for privacy, or may be left open for caregiver access.

Unit Source water and discharge are provided through 12ft hoses coupled to any functional standard sink faucet with enclosed universal connector.  While the Tall Primary Unit is generally selected for home use by people who cannot or choose not to do complete bathroom re-modelling, it is also the perfect travel or emergency shower.  The shower folds flat to less than 8 inches in depth, and weighs less than 30 pounds, enabling it to be easily transported in a vehicle with or without the optional travel case.   It can also be used outdoors, at rest areas, at camp sites, or even near a swimming pool.
